Their plastic-coated handles feature a special Kool-Touch® design, ensuring heat resistance up to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, this coating provides your servers with a better grip, reducing the risk of dropping during use.
The bold colored plastic coating also designates each pair of tongs to be used for a specific purpose to reduce the risk of cross-contamination during the cooking process. Assigning particular colors for a specific application will help implement an HACCP system in your kitchen to prevent foodborne illnesses by creating a safe and organized work environment.
