During production, this pan is covered in chemicals and electrically charged to produce a hard layer starting below the aluminum body’s surface and extending 0.001″ above the pan for superior protection. Thanks to this process, the hardened, non-porous and non-reactive surface provides excellent heat conductivity and strength.
