When used outdoors, it is recommended to be paired with a rain shield / lip or shelter housing (sold separately).
This durable unit is made of heavy-gauge aluminum with a weatherproof powder-coated finish, and it has corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinges and components. It also includes a weather-protected receptable for outgoing mail. This mailbox passed rigorous USPS security testing and meets USPS 4C requirements for mailboxes. It is designed to be securely mounted to the wall (hardware sold separately).
