Equip your restroom for your tiniest guests with this American Specialties, Inc. horizontal surface-mounted baby changing station! This baby changing station is made with a durable satin-finished 20 gauge type 304 stainless steel front panel on the door and a cream-colored, fabricated, fungus- and bacteria-resistant HDPE plastic interior and changing surface. It features a large 50 lb. capacity designed to support infants up to 3 1/2 years old, and a platform with a cradle-shaped bed to protect the child from rolling out. For added safety, this item includes an adjustable, vinyl-coated safety strap with a Sure-Lock latch that resists opening until released using opposing finger pressure by the caretaker. For the benefit of the caretaker, the unit also includes 1 integral, heavy-duty bag hook to hang bags or purses so they’re out of the way and off the floor.
Designed for convenience and safety, this baby changing station features a handle cavity on the door face and it can also be accessed from any location on the door for hassle-free, one-handed opening. It’s made with a damped gas spring that makes it operable with less than 5 lb. of force, with no pinching, tight grasping, or twisting of the wrist required. The unit includes a towel / bed liner dispenser (towels and liners sold separately) on the interior back wall that offers the option for a hygienic barrier between the child and the changing table. The dispenser features a lid to keep the contents sanitary, and it’s easy to access and load. The changing station is also furnished with interior instructions and graphics that show how to easily and properly operate the unit. This item is tested to ASTM F2285-04 and F-238 standards for a static load with a weight up to 250 lb., with minimal deflection, and it’s compliant with G-21, G-22, ANSI Z535, ANSI 117.1, EN 12221-1, and EN 12221-2 standards. To save space, this item surface-mounts securely to the wall with included hardware.
