It lowers to a horizontal position and protrudes 30″ from the wall, giving the user ample room to grab on as necessary.
This swing-up grab bar is made of durable, 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish and is wall-mounted with the included bracket, strong enough to hold up to 500 lb. Its 1 1/4″ diameter is a comfortable size to grip for users, while the peened design offers slip resistance. When not in use, simply swing the bar up to avoid the obstruction of pathways for residents.
