Zurn Elkay Z1185-7-3IP Details

Prevent lint and other solids from entering your laundry equipment’s plumbing with this Zurn Elkay lint trap! This interceptor services up to 7 washing machines (sold separately) and uses gravity separation to filter lint and solids like buttons, stones, and string from wastewater to prevent solid materials from entering, clogging, or cross-contaminating the plumbing and drain systems of your commercial or industrial job site. Heavier solids are retained in the first compartment while smaller, lighter particles are trapped in a secondary compartment or on the removable screen. This lint interceptor features a 70 GPM flow rate and 3″ threaded connections with 1 low inlet and 1 high outlet for easy access and installation.
This lint interceptor is made with a durable, acid-resistant coated, fabricated steel housing and interior. It features a permanent, primary straining baffle with 3/8″ perforated holes and a secondary aluminum screen assembly with 3/32″ square openings that intercepts solids. This solids trap is made with a non-skid, secured cover with a removable lift handle for easy access and cleaning. It’s ideal for commercial, industrial, hospitality, and recreational settings like laundromats, hair salons, barber shops, and surgery prep areas.
