Ensure your animals are properly contained with this Zareba electric fence charger. Efficient for energizing up to 10 miles of electric fencing, this low impedance charger introduces breaks in the electric pulse that runs through your fencing wire in 1 second intervals to minimize electric contact with animals, while also saving power. Featuring 0.18 stored joules and 0.15 output joules, this solar-powered charger is perfect for use with animals such as cattle, horses, bulls, goats, pigs, and other livestock. Full-load tested, it can stand up to light weeds, but be sure to occasionally monitor the fence line for excessive vegetation or fallen branches.
This solar-powered charger comes with a 6V rechargeable battery, making it ideal for remote areas where you don’t have access to an outlet. To charge the unit, ensure it’s in the “OFF” position using the convenient on / off switch on the bottom of the charger and allow it to sit in bright sunlight for 3 to 4 days. A power indicator light monitors the charger’s status, and once charged, it can run for up to 2 weeks without sunlight.
Simple to install, this electric fence charger is built with an integrated mounting bracket for easy installation on T-posts, Y-posts, round wood posts, or flat surfaces, while hanging holes give you the option for wall mounting. Additionally, connecting your ground and hot wires is simple with the easy-grip, color-coded knobs on the bottom of the charger. The heavy-duty case will protect the charger against harsh weather, and a flashing “Fence OK” light lets you know when it’s working at all times.
