This baba mold’s capacity ensures a consistent size and shape, and minimizes prep time in comparison to hand-molding. Plus, it offers portion control, allowing you to cut down on waste and food costs.
This cylindrical mold is made of Exopan fine steel that combines the quality of cooking with tinplate and the convenience of an non-stick surface. The exterior enamel adds protection for increased longevity, while the classic shape makes it ideal for baking rum baba and Dariole cakes. Simply bake the yeast dough, remove it from the pan, then soak it with sugar syrup before serving. Flavor the syrup with rum for an authentic baba au rhum cake! When you’re done using it, simply wipe the inside and outside clean. To maintain its pristine form, be sure not to expose the pan to humidity.
Exopan fine steel combines the quality of cooking in tinplate with the conveniences of non-stick. To clean, simply wipe the pan inside and out by hand with hot water, a degreasing product, and a soft cloth. Exopan steel should not be exposed to humidity. It is temperature resistant from -20 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and an enamel outside adds protection for longevity.
