The 34″ wide base is equipped with a set of 4 gas spring casters that allow it to move in all directions, making it easy to transport this safety ladder wherever it’s needed. The heavy-duty 2″ x 1″ steel rear vertical is gas spring-loaded to ensure smooth maneuverability, while the raised base allows you to avoid obstacles on the floor and cut corners. For the ultimate support, the ladder’s powder-coated steel frame and aluminum steps with mill finish provide a durable, yet light weight vertical access solution. This unit boasts a weight capacity of 450 lb.
The lift-assist lockstep makes it easy to use your foot to park the ladder before ascending, while the 36″ high handrails provide continuous holding points along the entire length of the climb. This unit has (7) 24″ wide steps with a perforated aluminum tread that allows water to pass through and provides traction to prevent slipping. Additionally, the 14″ deep top step provides ample room to further ensure user comfort. This ladder ships unassembled.
