For ultimate support, this section’s rigid steel frame boasts 1 1/4″ schedule 40 pipe tubing. The unit comes with 2 stair sections that connect to each side of your bridge section (sold separately), providing an impressive 800 lb. capacity when fully assembled with the bridge section. It’s finished with a sleek gray powder coating to ensure a resilient, long-lasting surface that is highly resistant to scratching, water and chemical corrosion, and weathering. Plus, the stairway slope design allows the user to face outward when descending the ladder, while the 34″ high handrails on both sides facilitate safe climbing.
Each section has (4) 24″ wide steps with an expanded metal tread that allows dirt and debris to pass through while providing traction to prevent slipping. Each section also has 4 legs with pre-drilled plates for secure bolting to the floor. This item is ideal for warehouses and other places where permanent access at crossover points is necessary. To complete your crossover ladder assembly, it works with any Ballymore 27″ wide bridge section, allowing you to choose from a variety of bridge options to suit your ideal configuration.
